Having said all that I am sure that there are many more tools and resources I missed so I thought perhaps any commentators might like to add to the list by listing useful tools that they know about!

http://www.aviary.com/ Aviary is a Free Suite of powerful online creation tools.
http://www.everystockphoto.com/ This site will search all the sites for free photos and images.The only requirement is that you attribute any downloads to the original author in a footnote or something.
Keyword Spy http://labs.keywordspy.com/ Spy on your competitors. Free trial with option to upgrade to Pro version.
